Weet bix Triyathlion
At 8.30 am I arrived at Tahuna, the place was crammed with people, bikes and tents. My friends and I went in the All Blacks tent. Then it was time to go down to the beach. It was an extremely long wait, and at the end it was probably the hardest part. At last I lined up at the start line. The man shouted, “Go!” We ran off down the beach and into the sea. The sea was so rough, we got bowled over. I finally got around the second buoy and ran up the beach to the bikes. I gulped some water and put my t-shirt on. I put my helmet on. I sprinted to where you start the bike ride. I zoomed off the grass and onto the road. It was obvious I was the fastest in the group. I had to bike 4km. I passed heaps of people, but my friend Mac passed me! I caught up though. When I finished the bike, I dropped my bike and flung off my helmet. I ran and sprinted around the field. I crossed the line and got my medal!
