Aren't we lucky we get to have a programme called Smarties. We get to use our different "smarts" to create art. The smarts are word, math, music, visual, body, people,and nature smart.

I am doing puzzle art because I am maths smart. We are making koru designs from broken up tiles. It is a mosaic.

I am music smart. We listen to music and we draw what we think the music is about, how it makes us feel. Jamie

We are nature smart. Carol teaches us how to weave flax to make flowers. Rebecca, Venka

We are visual smart. We are creating art with a Kiwiana theme. Marco, Fergus

I am self smart. We are creating art about our dreams. Tim

I am word smart. We have written a poem about colour and then put it onto a canvas. George.

I am body smart. We have to take photos using our body in different positions, like getting low and getting high. Reece


I am people smart. We are making a model of where the Wild Things live together. Max and Phoebe
